About SuSAN

Susan Wright founded Digital Zen Studios as a place to create and collaborate with artists from all over the creative world to realize projects across a spectrum of mediums.

A classically trained musician from age 8, Susan has always been driven by technology. One of the first tech items Susan possessed was a Casio calculator watch in 1978. The seed was planted. From there, the Walkman was not far behind and it has been a lifelong pursuit of adopting the next wave of technology.

An alumnus of Berklee College of Music, she earned a Master’s Certificate in Music Production and Technology and has produced and licensed music to MTV, VH1, Mountain Dew, Coca-Cola and other large names in the corporate world and entertainment industry. Her catalog of work includes charting a #2 Billboard Dance Radio Airplay record and songs in the SONY Motion Pictures film, “The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy.” Her live performances have included such amazing artists as the Indigo Girls, C&C Music Factory, Nelly, LL Cool J, the Roc Project and Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary.

During her time in Boston, she was in a band and wanted to print some flyers. She learned about the magic of Kinko’s (now FedEx Office). After applying to work there for the discount she found herself surrounded by so much cutting edge technology that she became a Technology Trainer. This position afforded her the access to everything that became the basis for the print, 3D, laser technology and software that is used today in everything she does.

The best part of what Digital Zen Studios does is to execute vision. Because the vision of the clients is so diverse, there is no end to the amount of creativity Susan will call in to complete the work. That includes working with other extremely talented and hand picked collaborators. There is no end to what we can create.
